Dr. Jason Toups, DDS
Dr. B. Jason Toups grew up in Rayne, LA and graduated from Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in 1990. “Dr. J” first attended USL, where he received a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree. After working for a few years in the field, he decided to pursue a dental degree.
In 2006, he earned his DDS degree from the accredited Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans. After school, he gained experience working alongside his dad, Dr. Brent F. Toups, in the family dental practice.
Having an on-site dental lab, Dr. Toups grew up learning how to set teeth for removable cases. With his degree in art, he has a keen awareness and ability with aesthetics. He also has an understanding of symmetry and balance, which enhances his ability to create a beautiful smile using crowns, partials, and dentures as an artist.
Dr. J has advanced training in oral conscious sedation and is affiliated with the following professional organizations:
- Acadiana District Dental Association
- American Dental Association
- Louisiana Dental Association
Away from the office, Dr. J spends time with his wife Jamie, and their daughters, Lucy, Zoe and Celie. His goal as a doctor is to enjoy all aspects of dentistry, especially building long-term relationships with his patients.

Jady Champagne
Office Manager
Jady is a graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School and Acadiana Area Career College.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband Jake and their three sons, Payton, Jayce, and Bowen. Her favorite vacation spot is the beach.
Jady loves working in the dental field and her favorite part is seeing the happy, smiling faces of our wonderful patients.
Lauren Dufour
Dental Hygenist
Lauren grew up in Cottonport, LA and graduated from LSU School of Dentistry with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene.
She is married to her husband Travis and has twin sons, Jake and Grant.
In her free time, Lauren is learning how to play guitar! She loves spending quality time with her family.
Kelsey Lormand
Dental Hygenist
Kelsey was born and raised in Rayne, Louisiana. She studied pre-dental hygiene at ULL and completed her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene at the University of Louisiana in Monroe.
In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband Dylan and her 3 children. Along with working out, being outdoors and baking.
Crystal Myers
Dental Assistant
Crystal is a graduate of Rayne High School and Acadiana Area Career College. She is married to her husband Chris.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, camping, traveling and gardening.
Crystal loves being a dental assistant because of the joy she receives caring for and helping patients smile again.
Allison Soileau
Dental Assistant
Allison is a graduate from Lafayette High School, and received her dental assistant certification at Acadiana Area Career College. During her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, and being outdoors.
Allison’s favorite thing about working in the dental field is seeing patients smile again.
Kate Thibodeaux
Dental Assistant
Kate graduated from James Madison High School, and from there got her dental assistant certification from Accelerated Dental Academy in Monroe, LA.
Outside of work she loves
spending time with her two children, Xen, and Ayla.
Kate is passionate about providing quality care and helping patients feel comfortable while in
the office.
Abigial Meyer
Receptionist
Abigail is originally from Appleton, WI, but was raised in Maurice, LA.
She is a proud mom to her
daughter Bella, who means the world to her. Abby enjoys going to the gym, spending time outdoors, and traveling when she gets the chance.
Abby is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming experience for our patients, and loves connecting with new people.
